The Bull Dual Fuel Countertop Pizza Oven is a versatile, Italian-designed powerhouse that bridges the gap between traditional wood-fired flavor and modern gas convenience. It is part of Bull’s premium pizza oven line, specifically engineered for those who want the flexibility to bake with wood for that authentic smoky aroma or use gas for a quick, effortless weeknight meal.
The Dual Fuel Countertop model features a high-performance 304 stainless steel solid-weld construction with a double-walled, dome-shaped ceiling. This "volcano" shape is critical for creating the convection airflow required to cook the top of the pizza at the same speed as the bottom. Unlike lower-end models that use thin metal, Bull uses a thick rock wool insulation layer between the stainless steel walls, allowing the oven to reach temperatures of 800°F–900°F quickly while remaining remarkably fuel-efficient.
Key Features
-
Dual Fuel Capability: Features a removable gas burner system. You can use the high-output gas burner for precision and speed, or remove it/cover it to burn seasoned hardwoods for traditional wood-fired cooking.
-
Massive Cooking Surface: Despite being a "countertop" model, it offers a spacious interior that can handle two small pizzas or one large family-sized pizza comfortably.
-
Genuine Italian Craftsmanship: These ovens are made in Italy, the birthplace of pizza, ensuring the thermal dynamics and stone quality meet authentic standards.
-
Food-Grade Refractory Stones: The floor is lined with thick, high-density refractory stones that absorb moisture from the dough to create a perfectly crisp crust.
-
Integrated Thermometer: A large, easy-to-read analog thermometer is mounted to the front face to monitor the internal ambient temperature of the dome.
-
Rapid Pre-Heat: Reaches cooking temperatures (approx. 750°F) in as little as 15–20 minutes, significantly faster than traditional masonry ovens.
-
Adjustable Chimney: Features a stainless steel flue with a damper to control the smoke and internal airflow during wood-burning sessions.

Installation & Special Notes
-
Countertop Placement: This unit is designed to sit on any non-combustible outdoor surface (granite, stone, or a dedicated Bull metal cart). It should never be placed on a wooden or plastic table.
-
Ventilation: If placing under a patio roof, ensure there is at least 10 feet of vertical clearance, or use a proper venting extension for the chimney.
-
Gas Connection: The unit comes ready for Liquid Propane but can be ordered or converted for Natural Gas. It requires a standard 1/2" gas line connection.
-
Curing the Oven: Before your first cook, it is recommended to perform a "seasoning" burn (a slow, low-heat fire) to remove any residual manufacturing oils and to properly set the stones.
Important Maintenance
-
Stone Care: Never use soap or water to clean the refractory stones. Simply use a brass-bristled brush to scrape away food debris. The high heat of the next fire will naturally "self-clean" the surface.
-
Covering: While 304 stainless steel is highly weather-resistant, a pizza oven cover is strongly recommended to prevent water from entering the chimney and dampening the internal stones, which can cause them to crack if heated too quickly.
