The Outdoor Greatroom Round Bronson Gas Fire Pit Kit (BRON52-K) is an all-in-one, premium do-it-yourself (DIY) kit designed to give you the rugged, nostalgic appearance of a backyard stone bonfire structure with the push-button convenience of clean gas engineering.

The BRON52-K is a structural "block" kit that takes the guesswork out of building a permanent masonry fire pit. The package contains 84 custom-molded retaining wall pavers that layer together seamlessly without complex masonry mortar. Once assembled, the blocks form a heavy, robust 52-inch round perimeter standing at a 16-inch bonfire height. Dropping cleanly into the center of this ring is a massive, commercial-grade 42-inch round burner plate insert made of 304 stainless steel. The design mimics a classic, traditional brick campfire site but runs entirely on an adjustable gas valve, eliminating smoke, ash, and flying sparks.

Installation & Technical Information

• The Propane Storage Constraint: Crucial Note: Due to the low-profile, 16-inch interior height of this kit and the depth of the massive 42-inch burner plate, a standard 20 lb. liquid propane tank will not fit inside the base. If using propane, you must run the included 10 ft gas line outward through a ventilation block to an external tank hidden nearby (such as inside a matching tank-cover side table).

• Foundation Requirements: Because the final assembled kit weighs nearly 880 lbs, it cannot be built on top of standard soft soil, grass, or floating wood decks. It must be stacked on a level, solid foundation such as a poured concrete pad, thick patio pavers, or a crushed gravel bed.

• Modular Assembly Styles: Stacking the standard manual spark-ignition package uses 4 full rows of blocks (16" height). If you choose to upgrade the kit to the automated Direct Spark Electronic Ignition (DSI) system, the kit will ship with 105 blocks total (5 rows) to elevate the unit to 20 inches to safely clear the electronic valve solenoids underneath.

Important Notes & Care

• The Curing Prerequisite: Natural concrete hardscape pavers retain tiny amounts of atmospheric moisture. During your first fire, run the burner on low for 30–45 minutes to gently bake out any deep moisture without causing micro-fractures in the block structures.
