The CF-DSI-R is a heavy-duty, handheld wireless transmitter that gives you a "couch-potato level" of luxury for your outdoor space. Instead of having to lean over the fire pit table, open the access door, and twist a valve or press a button while holding a lighter, this remote lets you safely light or extinguish the fire pit from a distance. It communicates directly with the electronic automatic valve module housed inside the fire pit's weatherproof enclosure.

Cannot Be Used with Manual Gas Valves: This remote will not work on standard, entry-level fire pits that use a manual key valve or a simple piezo push-button battery igniter. Your fire pit must be built with or upgraded to the 110V/Direct Spark Ignition electronic valve kit.

The "Timer" Conflict: Important Note: The CF-DSI-R remote control cannot be used if your fire pit is already wired to an automatic emergency countdown timer control panel (such as the 60-Minute or 4-Hour commercial timers like the CF-DSI-60MT or 4HRTC). The system can only process commands from one master control interface (either the remote or the hardwired wall timer).
